Wow what a choice. I had planned to not vote for
John McCain, but now there is no doubt. I had
told my wife that I might vote for McCain if he
was smart enough to pick a woman for his VP
And what a woman he did pick. Sarah Palin is not
only easy to look at but she is also easy to listen
to. She has more experience in her little finger
than Obama has in his whole body. Hillary says
Obama's experience is one speech that he made
several years ago. Obama would take us down the
road to Marxism or Socialism and I am not ready
for that. Obama is a good talker but that is
all. An empty suit that speaks well.

Politics again
It has been a couple weeks since my last post so
there is new stuff to talk about. The GREAT debate
at Saddleback church has taken place and in my
opinion it was a real yawner. McCain was well
rehearsed and knew what to say to please the conservative
audience. Obama on the other hand had to search for
his answers and even admitted that one answer was
above his pay grade. It was easy to see which
candidate has more life experience from which to
draw on for answers.
Pelosi says that Obama is a candidate sent by God.
Others have called him the Messiah. Surely God has
someone with a higher pay grade who can answer
a simple question about killing unborn babies. 40
million have died since the killing began. How
many will be enough. Sorry, I got a little off
the subject. I doubt that Obama is the Messiah.
Maybe I could believe that he is the Anti Messiah.
But I also doubt that..In my opinion he is just
a young fellow whose pay grade is not quite high
enough to be put into the most powerful position
in the world. We had a young inexperienced president
once before who nearly got us into WW3. I spent
many days at anchor on the floating white house
waiting for the Russians to bring missiles to Cuba.
We turned some back. We got lucky with that one
and ended the threat. I hope it doesn't happen
again. Socratease8

Energy
I have become convinced That the democrats and the
environdummies like the $4.00+ per gallon of gas.
It cuts the use of gas some, but the effect that it
has on poor folks is devastating. Also folks on a
fixed income are hurt. So much for the compassion
of democrats for low income people. I don't see much
compassion from the candidates for President, maybe
a little from McCain since he has changed his mind
on drilling for oil now.
I believe we need to use every source available to
us for our energy. Drilling now is a first step.
Solar is the next step along with wind , water and
maybe sources that are yet to be invented. Nuclear
of course will be very important if we want to
maintain our current standard of living. There is
very little evidence that man is warming our planet.
Over 31,000 scientist have been listed who refute
the idea of man made global warming. The UN only had
2500 scientist who believe in man made global warming.
I believe man made global warming is a scam and needs
to be refuted now before the government totally takes
over our lives. Don't vote for an incumbent. Socratease8
