Financial Mess

Well the red phone rang last night and McCain
answered it. Obama hit the snooze button.
It appears that a debate about a completely
different subject is what Obama wants. He
doesn't want to be part of the solution to
the financial problem. He would like it to
be an issue if he becomes president. He
thought he could win some political points
by refusing to get involved with the talks
about a solution to the crisis. President
Bush put him on the spot by calling him back
to DC to help with the solution. Makes sense
to me, one of these guys will be president in
January 09 so Bush left them with no wiggle
room. Plus these guys are Senators and it's
their job. That is something that Obama
apparently doesn't understand since his job
as senator has been to run for president.
President Clinton said that these problems
arose during his administration because the
congress would not pass controls for these
financial organizations.I'm beginning to
think President Clinton likes John McCain.

I hope folks are paying attention to the
Gulf region. There are Russian war ships
there for war exercises. The last time we
had an inexperienced president in office
the Russians thought they could deliver
missiles to Cuba after the Bay of Pigs
mess. Sabers are starting to rattle around
the world because we may have another
inexperienced president in that office.
We better stay ready to defend ourselves
if Obama becomes president. God help us.

Politicans

Wow, it was pointed out to me today that I am at
the end of my 7th decade, almost ready to start
my 8th decade. Boy do I feel wise now. Lookout
World and liberals!

We are now being told by the liberal political
machine that if Obama doesn't win the election
it is because of racial prejudice. I have
told liberal friends of mine that I would be
happy to vote for a black man for president if
he was qualified to be president. It is a severe
stretch to believe that Obama is qualified. This
guy has less experience than anyone that I
can remember in my almost 70 years of life on
this planet So I will not be voting for Obama.
I will be fighting to make sure this guy does
not win. He needs to go back to school and learn
a little more about the American way of life.
Most of us do not like socialism. It has
not worked in the parts of the world where it
has been tried, and it won't work here. There
are a lot of left-wingers who seem to like
the idea of socialism where 10% of the folks
work and provide the product and income and
90% sit on their asses and collect welfare
from the 10% who produce. That is not a good
system and won't last long.

If the politicians in office today knew the
contempt that I have for them they would not
want to be in the same room with me. The
democrats are below contempt and the republicans
are not a lot better. They don't have to be in
office very long before they can quit and draw
their full salary for the rest of their life.
We have to pay for that. Everyone who works and
pays taxes and everyone who is retired and pays
taxes have to support these loafers. There is
something wrong with this picture. It is time
for term limits and NO benefits when they leave
office!!Don't vote these rascals back in office.

Today I read some crap from a person named Tim Wise.
He tried to make me feel guilty about being white.
He has this theory on something called "White Privilege"
which is pure B.S. to most thinking people. This guy
is still pretty young so maybe as he gains experience
the fog that he lives in will lift and he will see
clearer. In my almost 7 decades on this earth I have
never felt guilty about my race. That may be because I
am part Native American and probably a few other races
thrown in. I also had an uncle who was half black. I
try to never judge people on their race.

The e-mail that I got with the article from this Wise
guy came in my e-mail yesterday so I have had some
time to find out about this jerk before posting. His
article was about Sarah Palin. I always get suspicious
when I get an e-mail from my left leaning friends, so
it was no surprise that this guy had nothing good to
say about Sarah. One of the things he didn't like about
Sarah is that she attended too many colleges to get her
degree. He didn't like the fact the she likes guns. He
seems to think that it scares people for her to have a
gun. He didn't like the fact that she has a pregnant
17 year old daughter. The list goes on but you get the
point.

To give you an idea of how I feel about Gov. Sarah Palin,
One of the things that I like about her most is the fact
that she is a life member of the NRA. I also like the fact
that she is not a baby killer. She is "Pro Life" not
"Pro Death". I like the fact that she is married to a
private pilot. She lives in a state that is 250 times
larger than Biden's state. She was a small town mayor so
she has an idea of how most people in this country think.
She is also a governor so she has a lot more experience
than Obama. What's not to like. Socratease8

Politics

It is a bit curious that Obama is running against
the Republican VP choice. Maybe he thinks that his
inexperience won't show as much. Boy is that a
miscalculation.
Obama has promised a tax increase. Even tho he has
said it would not effect folks that make under $250K.
It never quite works that way. You increase the taxes
on the people who run a large business or sells a
product that people need..guess who pays the tax. I
would rather see lower taxes and a lot less government
spending. If someone can promise me that they will
get my vote.
The Democrats seem to have a problem on their hands
with the popularity of Sarah Palin. McCain has taken
the lead in most of the poles. The Dems seem to be
panicking a bit and trying their best to find
something nasty on Gov Palin. Like I said they think
that Sarah is at the top of the Republican ticket.
I will watch this race close. It may be different
next week. Socretease8

Politics

It has been 500 years since I have been this
excited about an election. Sarah Palin has
made all the difference. The liberal media has
been trying to destroy her but it's not working.
How great is that. This young lady will some day
be our president. I can see her as the future
of the Republican party. She is the same age as
my daughter, so it's a bit hard to see her as
old enough to be the vice president, but that's
life. Now that I think about it, my daughter
would make a great vice president. Go figure.
I think it is time to turn over the reigns to
a new generation. They couldn't do any worse
than we have and may do a lot better. I am
glad tho, that John McCain will be there to
guide them through the tuff times. We are a
blessed nation. Socratease8

Politics

The speeches are finished and the stages are dark.
I watched John McCain except his parties nomination.
John is not the best speaker, but he sure does get
his point across. His life story is so much fuller
than Obama's that as far as I'm concerned there
is no contest. Cindy McCain will make the best first
lady we have ever had. I like her because she can
fly small airplanes. She also helps a lot of people
in need.
Obama can speak pretty good, but that will not make
him a great president. It won't even make him a
good or poor president. There needs to be some
history in that empty suit. Something to base your
decisions on. What I remember about Obama's story
is that he filled an empty seat in his church and
listened to a troubled soul for 20 years. He also
is friends with a terrorist and a crook. Dang, he
has made the choice easy. Socratease8
