Politicans

I am usually a pretty positive guy, but with the politics of today is is almost impossible to be positive. I do work on it daily so most of the time I present a positive image. A fellow once ask me where we would get our statesmen if we had term limits for our politicians. My question is, please name one true statesman in the last 20 years. I can't an neither could he. A statesman does not have to be a politician.

Bush has been blamed for everything that is bad in our society today. High gas prices, bad economy, global warming, ugly people, fat people and bad attitudes. If President Bush could make all that true he would have more power than God. The President finally woke up and lifted the ban on drilling for oil. Now if the congress would do the same, The price of gas would start to come down. The democrats say that if we start to drill today it would take 5-10 years to see a return. That is what they said 10 years ago. Does anybody see a problem with this attitude. If we don't start to drill NOW they will say the same thing in 5 years. "Don't vote for an incumbent!!" Socratease8
