This picture is the Dogwood at the beginning
of my path to the labyrinth
This is the same dogwood from a different
view with the corner of my garden.
This is a view of my neighborhood. We are
at the end of the road and don't get a lot of
traffic. It is very peaceful and serene.
This is a shot from our front porch. If you
blow up the picture and look really close at
our weather stick on the corner post about
half way up you can see a hummingbird
resting. Also visible are the little white clouds
that we call dogwoods.
This is GG(Garfield Girl) taking a nap after
a hard days hunt.

Native Flutes
In future post I plan to show the
different steps in building a Native
American style flute. I still have
some pictures and videos to gather
before I start that project. I have
the flute finished that I plan to
use for this project. In the meantime
take a look at the picture at the top
of this post. This is one that I
finished a while back. It is made
from Walnut with a beautiful grain.

Morels
Today while hunting for morel mushrooms GG went
along. She loves walking in the woods. She is
not much help finding mushrooms but she loves the
walk. We didn't have much luck finding the morels
but we will keep looking. When I was a kid I use
to find them by the bag full in southern Indiana.
I know they grow here in Tennessee because I have
seen pictures of them that folks have found nearby.
They won't tell where they found them so I guess
I will have to follow them next year. Socratease8

Amazing Grace
This sound file is loaded as a video in order
to get it to work on the blog. The blogger will
not except sound files. The picture above is
not a moving video. This song was taken from
the church CD and edited into a video so that
I could use it here.
This is Armand and Angelina playing Amazing Grace
using Odell Borg "A" flutes. Armand starts with
a high "A"5 flute. I believe it is a pocket flute
and finishes with an "A"4 drone. Angeline plays
the classic guitar to accompany Armand. I thought
it was a very effective way to do it. You can visit
Armand and Angelina's web site and hear more music
